Cozy weekend breakfast recipes

Hello Reader,

There's something especially nice about a weekend morning when you have a little extra time to make breakfast.

Whether you're in the mood for warm cinnamon rolls, a batch of muffins, or a simple coffee cake, these recipes are worth lingering over. Some take a little planning, while others are easy enough to make whenever the mood strikes.

Cinnamon Cream Cheese Coffee Cake
With a ribbon of sweetened cream cheese and plenty of cinnamon, this coffee cake is a lovely way to make an ordinary morning feel a little special.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls
Do most of the work the night before, then enjoy freshly baked cinnamon rolls in the morning. Perfect when you want a special breakfast without an early start.

Apple Cinnamon Baked French Toast
Apples and cinnamon make this baked French toast especially inviting for fall mornings. A great choice when you're feeding several people.

Pecan Praline Muffins
Sweet, nutty pecan praline flavor makes these muffins a little more indulgent than your everyday batch.

Buttermilk Biscuits
Sometimes a warm, homemade biscuit is all you need. These are wonderful with butter, jam, or whatever else you like to serve at breakfast.

Cinnamon Bun Scones
All those cozy cinnamon flavors in a tender, buttery scone. A nice alternative when you're craving cinnamon rolls but don't want to make yeast dough.

Dutch Baby Pancake
This puffed, oven-baked pancake is surprisingly simple to make and always fun to bring to the table.

Banana Muffins
A batch of homemade banana muffins is always welcome, especially with a cup of coffee and nowhere you need to be.

Cruffins
Made with puff pastry and cinnamon sugar, these pastries are a fun way to make something that looks a little fancy without a lot of fuss.

Whatever your weekend looks like, I hope there's time for something delicious.

Happy baking!

Jennifer
